These terms are the agreement between you and Best Me ("we", "us") for use of the Best Me app and service. By using the app, you accept them.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, you may only use Best Me with a parent or guardian's permission.
You keep ownership of every photo you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit those photos only to provide the service to you: to train your model, generate your images, and show them back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content.
We do not use your photos to train shared or general-purpose models, and we do not use them to advertise or promote Best Me.

We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of this section, and for serious breaches we may do so without notice.
Subject to these terms, the images you generate are yours, and you may use them personally or commercially.
Two honest caveats. AI models are probabilistic: output quality varies, results may contain artefacts, and they may not resemble you as you expect. And because generative models can produce similar output for different users, we cannot promise your output is unique, nor guarantee you can obtain copyright in it — the legal status of AI-generated work differs by country and is still settling.
You are responsible for how you use what you generate.
Best Me offers a free tier with limited usage and a paid subscription. Payment is taken by Apple or Google under their terms, not by us.
Training a model and generating images consume real computing resources that cost us money per use. Both free and paid plans carry usage limits, and we apply rate limits to protect the service. We may adjust these limits to keep the service running for everyone, and we may refuse or delay requests we reasonably believe to be abusive or automated.
We provide Best Me on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. We rely on a third-party AI provider, and their outages will affect us.
You can stop using Best Me at any time and delete your data from within the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — do survive it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to Best Me is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use Best Me after a change means you accept the updated terms.
